We are the Orchestra of the Royal Netherlands Air Force.

Behind our military uniforms are 48 professionally trained musicians, each and every one of whom understands their trade and are among the best in the business.

We have a rich past steeped in history. Whereas our music once made the difference on the battlefield, we and our music are put to a different use today. We are at the heart of society.

With our music, we tell the story of the air force and the Defence organisation, and we connect our world with the world outside our air bases. We bring a different sound.

What typifies us is our modern and contemporary sound. But the traditions that embody our ceremonial connection with the military are also part of our DNA.

Because of our surprising collaborations, visual displays with a military touch and our diverse and varied repertoire, the Orchestra of the Royal Netherlands Air Force is unique in the Netherlands and beyond.
